I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, working with Dr. Kuan Liu. My research develops statistical methods that connect rigorous inference with practical questions in public health, epidemiology, and ecology.
I received my PhD in Statistics from the University of Waterloo, supervised by Dr. Audrey Béliveau and Dr. Martin Lysy. I was previously a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale School of Public Health, working with Dr. Bhramar Mukherjee.
Research interests
My current work focuses on using Bayesian causal inference methods to explore the effect of extreme weather on health outcomes. I am also interested in capture–recapture methods, population size estimation, data integration, and latent variable models.
